North Hills residents now have access to the most sophisticated radiation oncology treatment at UPMC Hillman Cancer Center at UPMC Passavant, with the addition of a new, advanced linear accelerator (linac) used to treat cancerous tumors and destroy cancer cells while sparing surrounding normal tissue.

The Wexford Post Office celebrated 202 years of safe driving and work practices on October 31. Twenty-two employees were recognized for their safety excellence. Rural carrier Steven Roberts was inducted into the National Safety Council’s Million Mile Club. This nationally recognized distinction is earned for driving 30 years or one million miles without a preventable accident.
